The 53rd Smithville Fiddlers' Jamboree is "The Official Festival for the State of Tennessee". It is held Downtown Smithville. The old-time Fiddlers' Jamboree is a DeKalb County tradition that draws musicians, craft artists, and spectators to the Smithville Square each summer around the Independence Day weekend. Enjoy your 4th of July Holiday weekend at this free, family-friendly festival.

The 65th Annual Monteagle Mountain Market for Arts & Crafts is held in Hannah Pickett Park behind City Hall, and features over 100 artisans and crafters displaying their handmade creations.
