The Cave Spring Art Festival is celebrating its 49th anniversary as a juried event. It is held in Rolater Park where Indians played ball before they left on the Trail of TearsEnjoy a variety of vendors, eat lunch, go in the Cave, take a cool dip in the purported 2nd largest "swimming hole" in Georgia, and see the 2-story log Cabin that belonged to Cherokee Avery Vann before 1838

The Mountain Fling Art & Craft Show is sponsored by the Mountain Arts & Crafts Guild, and it is a juried event. It is one of North Georgia's most successful Art & Craft Shows, and it is held at the Union County Schools Agriscience CenterTake a break from the heat, while picking beautiful handmade items in the cool comfort of this indoor event

The Roan Mountain Rhododendron Festival is presented by the Roan Mountain Citizens Club since 1947. The festival is held in Roan Mountain State Park, located at the foot of Roan Mountain and features handmade crafts, food, and a variety of traditional music, plus an array of old-time folkway demonstrations.     

Visit the world’s largest natural rhododendron gardens atop 6000-ft Roan Mountain, hike the Appalachian Trail as it runs along the border of Tennessee and North Carolina, and relax by cool streams in a rustic cabin.
