Christmas Made in the South celebrates its 33rd year at the Macon CentrePlex in Macon, Georgia. Organizers keep the spotlight on fine arts and crafts, so expect aisle after aisle of handcrafted finds and the talented people who made them. Santa will be on hand too, so bring your gift list.
Savannah, Georgia welcomes the 37th Annual Christmas Made in the South to the Savannah Convention Center. This show is in a league of its own: exceptional craftsmanship, beautiful art, tasty food, and plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. Rows of booths feature handmade work of every kind, from silk clothing and cloth bags to dichroic glass jewelry and close-up nature photography.
For three weekends running, the Medieval Village in Robertsdale, Alabama, plays host to the Mobile Renaissance Faire & Pirate Festival. Paired with a Wild West Roundup, the event celebrates the heritage of medieval Europe alongside the 16th-century Gulf Coast. Expect jesters, jugglers, fire breathers, sword fighters, and full metal jousting, plus the chance to test your own skills with medieval weapons: pick sword fighting, ax throwing, or archery. We will be there on the Faire's third weekend and hope to see you there.
